EICMA 2017 Pictures Gallery

Dear friends, 2017 has marked the third year of my collaboration with the international Eicma motorcycle fair and the last edition was another amazing portion of new faces and energy. Thank you so much for all of you who participated, I wish I could have had more time to shoot more beautiful pictures with you. To portray someone in such a quick mode, is even more powerful because you keep the feeling that there’s always more to discover or to mold a new face. Here are some of them. My gratitude goes also to my supporters: Mafer Foto, Broncolor, Phaseone and  Manfrotto for all the unbelievable professional equipment mounted on the set and Savini Tartufi and Le Vigne di San Pietro that with their products made things on the set tastes even better. Thanks from my heart to all my staff who worked hard to make things great: Pietro Rocchetta Casadio, Alessandra Farina, Federico Bruekner, Alessandro Lonati, Gianluca Catzeddu and Lucia Alessandri and the girls from 6Glab! 2018 forward back to the roots!

2018 forward back to the roots!

I learned by living that everything you want immediately, never comes in a twist, because life also needs time to generate life. With this spirit, I look at the horizon close to my heart, because every day is precious and should not be wasted in the anxieties that society imposes on us. Step by step, little by little, I’ll reach the goal, focused and full of energy to conquer the wonders of the world. I ended 2017 light and happy, in an earthly paradise, meditating every day to start a year full of joy and gratitude for all of life gives me. Thanks to all of you who have walked beside me or gifted with your energy so that my task on this earth can go on. Friends, customers, fans, colleagues, followers, son, former boyfriends, enemies and who will come, I am like a butterfly flying from one flower to another, sometimes fleeting but of help whenever needed. Let’ smile to life and this new year that will be really something magical. 2018 welcome! Back to the...

Nikon a 100 years celebration book

IT’S A NIKON. IT’S AN ICON   I am a proud to use Nikon cameras. It’s been a long journey and I am really honored to be selected by Nital, the company which  represents the brand in Italy to be in a photography book. 2017 is a 100 years of Nikon birth  and a book to celebrate it’s birthday is the best way be in history: I’ts a Nikon. It’s an Icon. A hundred italian photographers were involved to celebrate it’s 100 aniversary. I shared one of my most well known works from my archives “Banana Golden Pop Art”. “AN IRONIC TRIBUTE TO THE AESTHETICS OF POP ART AND A HOMAGE TO ANDY WARHOL”. Thank you so much Nital!  It’s an honor to be part of such an importan achievement. Cheers!...

Selfie in the ancient times

Selfie in the ancient times

I read an interesting article this morning  by Michele Smargiassi. It throw me back to my psychology researches in portraiture that I have been doing for several years and when it was not fashionable to use the term ‘psychology’ in anything. I myself portray me in this category except for the fact that I have been doing it since I was young when I did not yet know why I did it before someone called it “selfie” and after great men in history like Artemisia Gentileschi, Gustave Coubert (see his series of “desperate portraits”), Francis Bacon, Leonardo Da Vinci, Caravaggio Andy Warhol painted or shot self-portraits, and this is only a tiny examples of those who used the “selfie” in the past. Man always needed to have a dialogue with the image of the self as a testify to his presence on earth, well aware that the momentary moment of fixing himself on a support would have immortalized him forever, power that he did not have if not on a support he chose. MICHELE SMARGIASSI...

Surreal mind, Surreal works

Surreal mind, Surreal works

“If people are wise, we then have to be crazy; also because, like the great Shakespeare said, if the crazy seriously thinks to be wise, in fact is the wise that knows for sure to be crazy.” Carl William Brown   These days I’m shooting some very surreal works. I like to create something that’s in my head. Only in my head. Including my crazy figure. Because Photography is a wonderful stage to free our demons. Very soon I’ll be updating all the news. Thanks for being there 😉 “Se gli altri sono saggi, noi allora dobbiamo per forza essere pazzi; anche perché, come diceva il grande Shakespeare, se il folle pensa seriamente di essere saggio, in realtà è il saggio che sa per certo di essere folle.” Carl William Brown   In questi giorni sto facendo vari lavori molto surreali. Grazie dell’ascolto 😉   Shot by Francesco Maria Colombo at his...
