Hasselblad Open Studio Tokyo featuring Monica Silva with ‘My Hidden Ego’ workshop
A tribute to Tim Burton’s The Corpse Bride.
On June 26, 2012, a day dedicated to photography at the studios Ryu in Tokyo. The event organized by Hasselblad Asia, was lived with great intensity by the photographers, who alternated shooting sessions with Monica Silva and ‘My Hidden Ego’, workshop whose objective is the discovery of the Ego through the application of the photographer’s experience, using basic psychology combined with photographic techniques. An unusual workshop for Japanese standards who have been involved in photographing a Russian model who for this occasion played the part of the Corpse Bride character, a tribute to the movie by Tim Burton that Monica has created to make the session more interesting and a creative shooting, with the precious collaboration of shoes designer Gaetano Perrone.
Visitors had the chance to see Hasselblad vintage cameras, including the first lunar camera, as well as experience live demonstrations of Hasselblad’s H4D.
